Ideas
- Use small shop-vac with 3d printed adapter to create floor-board dust pan that vacs up
IOT
- Cameras
- Apple TV?
- Bluetooth?
- Projector TV or real TV?
Kitchen
- Induction Countertop Cooker? (110V only)
Appliances / Major components
12V
- Water Pump (12V)
- Refrigerator (with Propane)
- Water Heater (with Propane)
- Furnace
110V
- Microwave
- Air Conditioner
- Refrigerator (w/o propane)
- Water Heater (w/o propane)
- Washer/Dryer
- Toilet (special)
Water System
Requirements
- Water pump from tank to faucets
- Water Heater?
- Hot Air Blower (Propane Furnances)
- Refrigerator?
- Lighting
- Safety / Warning Devices (smoke, CO2, Propane Detector, etc)
- Plastic Water Holding Tank (easier to maintain)
- Water Pressure Regulator when hooking up water externally maximum of 45-55lbs of pressure
- Water Filter
- Level sensors for all three tanks
Dump Tanks
- Black Dump Tanks store waste from toilet, which is vented
- Gray Dump Tanks are for everything else
- Waste valves for each tank will meet in a fitting for a common hose to drain both
- Black Waste Dump Tank has a fresh water clean-out valve
Gray Dump Tank
- Has p-traps
- Vents for each trap and one common roof vent for tank itself
Drain procedure
- Make sure tanks are pretty full when you drain
- Hook up everything from RV to dump site first
- Open the Gray Dump Valve and let a little flow out to make sure it's okay
- Drain Black Tank First
- Do not leave valve open, even if hooked up -- let them fill up
Electrical System
- 12V powers necessary items, AC powers "luxuries"
AC System
- RV's external power comes in 30 amp (three prong) and 50 amp (four prong varieties)
- many sites have 50amp, but some only have 30amp. Adapter available
- Apparently some campsites have bad polarity!
- Surge Guard on input?
- Transfer Switch?
12V System
- Battery bank of 12V power (deep cycle) (https://www.ohmmu.com/product-page/group-31-deep-cycle-advanced-lithium-12v)
- Solar Panels
Charging 12V System
This does not include the "starting" battery, which starts the engine.
- From external 110V
- From Solar
- From Engine Alternator
Requirements
- External 50 amp hookup
- Breaker box?
Propane
There should be a permanently mounted tank, they can be closed off and then driven through highway tunnels
- Higher-end may have a hot water system for heating the coach and hot water powered by a diesel system with a propane stove
- High end Class A Diesels are all powered 100% by electric
- Can only be filled to 80% capacity
- Permanent tank needs an always accessible shut-off valve
