Attributes
Levels 3 introduces a new concept to replace Abilities from previous versions of the mod. Weapons and armor have a bonus attribute slot as well. This slot might not get filled, but higher rarities have a higher chance at filling this slot. The Bonus Attribute slot gives weapons a unique bonus, which can be anything relating to durability or potion effects or even a unique ability that is used on right click.
Uncommon Attributes:
- Fire: sets enemies on fire.
- Frost: stuns enemies, freezing them in place.
- Durable: percentage chance at not using durability
Rare Attributes:
- Absorb: percentage chance of 20-50% of the damage dealt is returned as health.
- Soul Bound: item will not drop on death.
Legendary Attributes:
- Void: percentage chance at instantly killing an enemy.
- Unbreakable: item will never break.
Attributes will only be unlocked once your weapon or armor reaches a specific level. This level is randomly determined when the weapon is created and cannot be changed. Attributes are also more powerful than abilities typically are. This system is also not final. Things might change dramatically during Levels 3 beta.
