Overview: this lab consisted of hooking up a server and laptop in packet tracer and pinging the server from the laptop, as well as saving the router config after "turning it off".

• Packet Tracer simulation mode has been covered in other journals.
• To save router configs, go to the config tab and select the "Save NVRAM" button. If this is not done, powering off the router will delete the configs.
