The Planet

  1. The radius of the planet is 5,119 dc.
  2. Approximately 71.1% is covered with ocean.
  3. The planet will be procedurally generated with a 1/4 sq dc resolution.

Land Masses

  1. Temperate Zones will be located all across the globe.
  2. The type of temperate zone depends upon its latitude and prevailing ocean currents.
  3. Obviously, polar zones will be cold.

Celestial Data

  1. The local name for the planet is 'Tesrandi' (anglicized to 'Tesrandia').
  2. The scientific designation for the planet is NGC 12119-1310-AF87B-4. Its older identification was Omega Phi IV.
  3. There is a single, yellow star about median age and roughly the same mass as Earth's Sun.
  4. There are 13 planets. Tesrandi is the 4th planet out. The 5th planet, Dolkendo, also harbors primitive bacteriological life.
  5. There are two moons, Anbenitai and Yemmerick (meaning 'Shepherd' and 'Follower'). Anbenitai is about 75% the size of Earth's moon. Yemmerick is about 25% the size of Earth's moon. Both Anbenitai and Yemmerick are tidally lock and share generally the same rotational plane. Scientists expect Yemmerick to merge into Anbenitai in about 30 million years.
  6. There is a 21.9% tilt in the axis of the planet, producing seasons.
