Adding new patches - TheTechnobear/NuiLite GitHub Wiki

Sidekick is run in /home/we/sidekick (aka ~/sidekick)

Patches are stored in a subdirectory called patches

to install a new patch, simply place the patch (it'll be a directory) into ~/sidekick/patches

you can also create sub-directories to 'categorise' your patches.

if you place a zip file into the patches directory (e.g you downloaded from patchstorage.com, then Sidekick will give you the option to install them (this is preferable to unzipping and transferring original files)

note: if you come across .zop files (used by organelle) you could try to rename these to .zip BUT be aware they may not work, the reason is they can contain deployment information (eg. to move files around) that is not applicable to Norns (which is laid out vary differently)
