The Tool Editor allows for adding traits to tools through the use of Mysterious Essence which can be obtained from 'Collector' villagers or from ripping traits from tools (Also done in the editor). You can also level up your tool using the max level shard.

The only way to obtain the tool editor is to find it in a vanilla village house.
