In a "unit" of 20 Thi-Ruun, there will be 14 Drones, 3 Enforcers, 1 Breeder, and 2 Tenders. Members of a unit can be very far apart from one another, even in separate systems.
Drones
Humanoid, bipedal robots with stocky bodies, standing at 5 feet tall. Their bodies are fairly "standard" by robotic looks, but their heads are icosohedral, with short "spines" at the back. Their bodies are a light, cool gray colour. Drones are manufactured to weigh 200 pounds. They are the bulk of the Thi-Ruun workforce, doing almost all manual labor. In contrast to other models, they do not have the computational power to operate without external instruction.
Enforcers
Taurid robots, standing at roughly 8 feet tall. They are considerably well-built, and notable for their scorpion-like tail, which is equipped with a multi-purpose launcher (most common ammunition is somekind of suppressive gas). Their bodies are angular with thick, overlapping plates of heavy metal armor. Enforcers are manufactured to weigh nearly 1300 pounds. Their hulls are a dark burgundy with dark purple top halves.
Breeders
Lamian robots standing at roughly 20 feet tall but with segmented tails that extend for roughly 70 feet behind them (total body length of 90 feet). They have curved bodies and pale orange chassis with dark under-segments, but also have personal energy shields that stick to them like a second skin, which glow a faint purple. As their name implies, they're responsible for creating new Thi-Ruun.
Tenders
Four-armed, bipedal robots comprised of a yellow chassis coated by a thick layer of translucent blue jelly. They stand at roughly 7 feet tall. In addition to performing maintenance work on other Thi-Ruun, they are also responsible for animal handling.

"Those who serve/Those who are beneath"
The civilian populous, occupying most of Thi-Ruun space.
Sakaar-Ruun
Those who hunt/Those who attack"
The primary developer of offensive technologies in -Ruun space. Many cutting edge missiles are produced in their great think tanks, and many more die before implementation. Their ships are characterized by a more reddish swizzle and fast, lightweight designs with better outfit and weapon capacity than their Kelaar-Ruun counterparts. Locked in an eternal weapons testing war with the Kelaar-Ruun, they can be found in their own subsets of -Ruun space.
Kelaar-Ruun
"Those who persist/Those who protect"
The primary developer of defensive technologies in -Ruun space. They focus on advanced defenses like the newly-developed Eraser Torpedoes or Multi-Sustainers. Their ships are colourized by a blue-purple swizzle and stockier, slower designs with far better durability than their Sakaar-Ruun counterparts. Locked in an eternal defenses-testing war with the Sakaar-Ruun, they can be found in their own regions, directly in opposition to the Sakaar-Ruun's turf (centered around Irnell (battleground) systems).
Lykil-Ruun
"Those who forge ahead/Those who scout"
An offshoot of the Thi-Ruun, long divorced in culture and mind from the bulk of the Thi-Ruun collective. Their small, tightly-collected network of hidden systems is home to a number of supernova remnants, from which the Lykil-Ruun harvest yottrite for experimentation. As a result of this, their ships and weaponry are highly different than mainline Thi-Ruun culture, and they lack the collective's knowledge of English.
Kiel-Ruun
"Those who are above/Those who employ servants"
The long-deceased biological masters and creators of the Thi-Ruun, killed in a nuclear war. Their mutated, feral descendants lie in the underground arcologies of the homeworld. Their ships and engines are still widely used in Thi-Ruun space.
COMPANIES
Pollo-Talia
"Old Rotation"
An ancient Thi-Ruunic company that specializes in variously-sized transports. Operating all across Thi-Ruun space, their "Tarlec-Pollo" is the most commonly seen ship in Thi-Ruun space, serving as the backbone of the Thi-Ruun's interstellar transportation network. Though it has been a long time since their weapons division was in operation, they are the original creators of the ever-reliable and ubiquitous Pollo-Guli unguided missile system.
Kalore-Illoca
"Kalore Concern"
Yet another old company in Thi-Ruun space, but significantly more modern than Pollo-Talia. Kalore-Illoca focusses on heavy, durable freighters that serve industrial-scale cargo and mining operations. Their ships are largely found in western Thi-Ruun space.
Yurliakaeon
"Of the Many"
Yurliakaeon is a small company that designs a limited subset of ships; peculiar, stick-shaped carriers with capacity for interchangeable fighters, designed to give Thi-Ruun captains a great deal of customizability in the field.
Kelassa Uratal
"Failed Legacy"
The oldest company the Thi-Ruun operate; comprised in not-insignificant part by ancient Thi-Ruun who once served the Kiel-Ruun; the long-deceased creators. Their ships are replicas of ancient Kiel-Ruun ships, but updated with the latest technology the Thi-Ruun have developed. They can be found everywhere, but most commonly near the "middle" of Thi-Ruun space.
