How do the essays hang together? Is 4’s essay, which responds to exactly the same prompt, an improvement on that of 3.5? Evidently, GPT-4's response isn't a substantial improvement to its predecessor's version. Both agree with the suggestions of the client and claim to check the source themselves.
What do you think of ChatGPT as a student writer? I think ChatGPT has a time and a place. Like business classes.
Would you want to use ChatGPT (or other AI) for an assignment like this? For an assignment that require the ability to cite my sources? Yes; if the AI is built around that capability. ChatGPT is not.

Would you just submit ChatGPT’s version as is, maybe ‘making it your own’ a bit by changing a few words or adding a few things of your own? If you would use ChatGPT in any way, would you do that merely for convenience, or do you think it would contribute to your development as a thinker and academic writer? How would I use it? In a dream world, I would love to use a self-hosted LLM fine-tuned on my papers to generate my Academic Statement. I cannot image what rich benefits would come from sucessfully writing this code and expiramenting to produce the perfect Authentic Academic Statement model.

The framing of a story is the perspective being shaped by the information made available to the consumer.
How does journalistic framing relate to system prompts? System prompts determine a role or a perspective for prompts, shifting the tone and content of the output similar to how framing a story limits us to a certain perspective.
How does the "standard story" relate to the kinds of information that is likely to be expressed by AI chat systems like ChatGPT? Because AI systems are probability machines, if a particular narrative has been widely distributed ChatGPT will likely use that content to generate a response.
How can research assistance for a critical essay be connected to using AI chat to learn technical topics or for assistance with programming languages? You can ask an AI chat for information, design assistance, or any questions that don't require correct-ness.
