Magic Bait is a Tier 4 utility item. It has 100 uses. If held in the off-hand while fishing, it decreases the time for a fish to bite by 5 seconds. This stacks with the Lure enchantment. Additionally, it completely prevent catching anything except treasures. Successfully catching an item will reduce the durability by one, while reeling your line in early will not.

Magic Bait can be enchanted with Mending and Unbreaking.
