A Void Portal Shard is an end portal frame block used in the creation of new end portals. In order to make a personal end portal, you need 12 frame pieces and must assemble them in the proper order. These frames are unbreakable except by a Quintessence, and great caution should be taken when building your own portal.

The correct way to build an end portal is as follows;

You must stand in the center of the portal and build the frame around yourself; Visually, there is no difference in the frame texture; The game, on the other hand, recognizes a front and a back to the portal frame so this is the way it must be done to successfully create an end portal. Once the frames are in place, the order in which they are filled with Eyes of Ender does not matter.
