Welcome to the wiki for Dynamic Ore Veins!

Dynamic Ore Veins (DOV) is a Minecraft mod that exposes the large ore vein generation of 1.18+ Minecraft via datapacks. Datapacks formed with this mod should always be independent of mod loader.

Prerequisites

To get started, it is highly recommended that you have an understanding of Minecraft worldgen and making datapacks. Particularly, you should at least have a general understanding of density functions and be able to form datapack folders.

Additionally, you may want to be familiar with block state providers and vertical anchors, as you may see in placed features.
