If you don't want to wait for a fancy render, you can render using the Workbench engine.

If you're even lazier and just want to render whatever you're looking at from the viewport without even positioning the camera, you can just render the viewport. This won't render the Hi-Res meshes either, so it's recommended to use Workbench or to turn simplify off before rendering. Turning simplify off can be very heavy on your PC so be careful if you have an aging or not super great GPU

NOTE: This does not work in rendered view
