Pose Library Set Up (IMPORTANT) - TheArtGun/GunquinDocs GitHub Wiki
There is a Pose Library included with the Gunquin Download, there are a few steps to setting it up. It's a bit annoying but it's so that we can add more pose assets in the future with ease and reduce the size of downloads.
By default, you will only have the RESET pose.
In order to add more poses, find somewhere safe on your PC to put the Library. It doesn't have to be in your project files, you won't really be touching it unless there is a new pose library release or an update to this first Library for the Gunquins.
The Gunquin download should include two folders
The file you'll be playing with is in the Gunquin folder. The Gunquin_Library Folder is where the poses are saved. If you want you can keep them together, but it's up to you. Just remember where you put the Library and for the love of god don't leave it in your downloads :'D
Once you've put your Gunquin Library somewhere safe, copy the file path.
Then, we need to add it to Blender so the program knows where it is. To do this, go to Edit>Preferences>File Paths Then click the little plus in the bottom right corner.
This'll pop up a File viewer window, paste your file path in the top bar and double click the Gunquin_Library folder
Then select the library folder you'd like to add. If we upload future pose packs they'll need to be added this way as well.
Then save your preferences (MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS or blender will forget what you did here the next time you open it)
Now, in the Asset Library we can select our Gunquin Library file and it'll load all of those poses.
NOTE: Most of these poses should (sort of) work with most Rigify rigs. Certain poses use settings specific to the Gunquin rigs however so it's not 100% transferable.
