❗ NOTE: 8 LED's are okay for this setting without any PSU. I achieve even 21 LED's with this setting BUT, it starts to flickering, because lag of power!

Each LED takes 3 times 20mA = 60mA of power at rgb=(255, 255, 255). Don't forget to calculate a little power buffer of around +20%.

E.g.:

• n = 50 LED's,
• I = 60mA,
• U = 5V

nI * U = P <=> 50 * 0.06A * 5V = 15 W

With power buffer it's 18 W. That's the PSU you will need.

But there is more, every 40 to 60 LED's you need to cut the strip, because of voltage dropout and these wires aren't strong enough for high current.
