Welcome to the Children-of-IO wiki! This resource is for team collaboration and the curious.

Children of IO drops you in a land that is falling to pieces. You must make your way to the core, building an arsenal of tools to help you overcome the obstacles this broken world puts in your path. Find what's terribly wrong with this place or remain trapped in an eternal loop of disintegration.

Our dream is to demystify programming and game-making The ambition is to make a 3D fps action/puzzle/adventure game that teaches a commonly used language and game editor.

At the moment we're mostly in a heavy design phase while our sister project, Unwritten3D, is prototyping a game creator of our own. It hopes to be an in-browser game creator that takes a slightly different approach to the manipulation of objects and assets, often drawing from some of Bret Victors Learnable Programming principles.

One major struggle for us will be beating scope reapeatedly with big sticks to keep it in line while still accomplishing our goals.
