When attuned to this arcane violin, you harness its power to weave melodies that plague your foes and soothe the senses of your allies. As an action, you play the violin to one of two tempos:

Adagio. You compel up to three creatures within a 30-foot range that can hear you to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, a target takes psychic damage equal to 1d8 + your spellcasting ability modifier and loses their next reaction and bonus action. On a successful save, they take half damage and do not lose their reaction and bonus action.

Vivacissimo. Up to three creatures that can hear you within a 30-foot range regain hit points equal to 1d8+ your spellcasting ability modifier. Healing a creature beyond its maximum hit points, grants them temporary hit points instead. You can use the violin's mystical ability a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier before needing to wait until dawn.
