Armor (shield), uncommon

A robust shield, crafted from iron-reinforced wood, bearing an unknown painted crest. This shield is given to those folk heroes who want to dedicate themselves fully to their community.

Allegiance. As a free action, you can magically alter the painted crest on the shield to take on the form of any other heraldry, symbol or emblem. You gain a +1 to any skill checks made to interact with those that would recognize the crest on your shield.

Town's Finest. While within 2000 feet of a settlement of which you are carrying the heraldry and symbols on your shield, you gain a +2 bonus on Dexterity saving throws.
