The Weaselpopper

Weapon (blunderbuss), legendary (requires attunement)

The weapon itself is decorated in eclectic neon markings, colourful paisley patterns and is adorned with brass and silver studs. On the handle of the weapon is the symbol of a golden dragon. On a succesful hit, this two-handed firearm deals 4d4 magical piercing damage to a target within 60 feet. Using a bonus action, the weapon can be reloaded by slotting two pieces of ammunition into the weapon, after which you can attack twice again.

Any Charisma (performance) check made gains a +10 bonus on the roll, while attuned to this weapon. While attuned to this weapon, you know the location of all hidden or invisible creatures within 60 feet of you, as their outline becomes visible through walls and objects. Attacks made against creatures that are invisible or attempt to hide automatically count as critical hits.

The weapon holds 15 charges that can be used to perform various feats:

Pallet (1 charge). You generate 4 pieces of mundane ammunition for the Weaselpopper.

Rapid Reload (2 charges). The Weaselpopper automatically reloads without having to use a bonus action, expending two pieces of any chosen ammunition.

Rock Salt (3 charges). While reloading, you load additional rock salt into the weapon. Your next two attacks fire in a 10ft cone, forcing all creatures within range to succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw. Affected creatures take 4d4 magical piercing damage or half as much on a successful save.

Confettipallet (5 charges). You produce 2 pieces of heavy duty ammunition. On a hit, the Weaselpopper instead deals 1d8 fire damage, 1d8 lightning damage, 1d8 radiant damage and 1d8 poison damage. All creatures within 5 feet of the target take half as much damage.

Party Buster (5 charges). You produce 2 pieces of steel-clad shells, hand-painted to perfection. On a hit, deals 4d12 magical bludgeoning damage. Deals triple damage to objects and structures.

The weapon regains all expended charges at dawn.

Lore

A token instrument of death and destruction, wrapped with the pleasant paisley colouring of the Syndicate. The Circus, which serves as a front for one of the most cutthroat organizations known to Dyscaert, stands as an analogy for the ‘festive cheer’ spread by this devious firearm. Festive cheer that can effortlessly shred someone’s intestinal organs, that is.
