Weapon (flail), very rare (requires attunement by a left-handed fighter)

This is a formidable flail: its spiked chain forged from hardened steel and its handle wrapped in sturdy leather. Upon closer inspection, one can see faint runes etched along its length, pulsing with latent power. The weapon can only be wielded in a left hand.

While attuned to this flail, you gain the following benefits:

Battle Surge. Once per long rest, you can use your Action Surge feature an additional time before requiring a short or long rest to regain it.

Proficient Strikes. Whenever you use your Action Surge feature, you can add half your proficiency bonus (rounded down) to all attack rolls made with the weapon until the end of your turn.
