Lore
Bound through political marriage, the families Javeroth and Leitwig sealed their alliance with a magical weapon, a lance. When the artifact was finally bestowed upon a descendent of the marriage, a young baron, the lance was found to be cursed. Only true love would have protected the wielder from the artifact’s aura of bad luck, but that didn’t do the young baron any good. His recklessness got the better of him, sooner than the lance could slip from his fingers and lodge itself into the beast that he was killed by. A mysterious colossus known as the Carapacian Trapper still holds the magical lance lodged deep within its shell. Now… how to get it out?
