This grotesque crown is primarily made from the bones of the Pirate King's closest ally. Even their own lover took their life upon witnessing the horrific adornment, adding to the bones in the collection. While attuned to this crown, your Charisma score equals 19. Additionally, if you make a Charisma (intimidation) check, the crown grants you a +5 bonus to the roll.

This item is part of the Pirate King's Regalia. If you are already attuned to another item from the same set, this item does not require attunement.

Lore

Before the Shoalbaron surrendered his fleet to Alfonze II of Epror, he sailed as a self-proclaimed Pirate King. Those that would oppose his dominance over the free waters, would find the ancient Pirate Code of little protection. Even the Pirate King’s most loyal First Mate couldn’t hide behind the Codebook, when he confronted the warlord with his negligence. To settle the budding mutiny, the First Mate was felled and turned into a bloody crown to remind that the Pirate King was above mere paper rules.
