Justiciar
There exist those that utilise their years of education to hone - not just their factual knowledge - but their aptitude for analysis. The Justiciar is an Academic that seeks to elevate their perspective on morality through extensive study. To think that Justiciars are paragons of lawfulness, however, is a misconception. A Justiciar aims not to embody the law, but to distance themselves from it so to better perceive the motives of those around them. A Justiciar is quick to understand what others aim to accomplish, but they can bar those intentions just as easily.

Moral Stance
1st-level Justiciar Feature
At first level, your alignment becomes true neutral as you don the mantle of Justiciar. Rather than Intelligence, Wisdom becomes your primary ability, changing all Academic features so that they use your Wisdom ability instead.
Additionally, you become immune to being charmed.
Veritas
1st-level Justiciar Feature
Once, before needing to finish a short rest, you can attempt to discern the alignment of any creature you can see within 60 feet. The creature has to succeed on a Charisma (deception) saving throw contested by your Wisdom (insight) or have their alignment be revealed to you.
After succesfully determining a target’s alignment this way, they count as if affected by the Zone of Truth spell for 10 minutes.
Ne Bis in Idem
5th-level Justiciar Feature
From 5th level, you keep the rules of combat fair by preventing enemies from abusing their power. When a creature you can see within 60 feet uses a feature or spell, you can use your reaction to force them to succeed on a Wisdom saving throw with a DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier.
On a failed save, the target cannot use the same spell or feature again for the duration of 1 minute.
Judex Non Calculat
9th-level Justiciar Feature
When you or an ally within 30 feet gets hit by an attack you can see, you attempt to negate the damage using your reaction. For every Erudite point you expend as part of that reaction, you one of the enemy’s damage dice as if it was a 1. The selected damage dice always go from highest to lowest number rolled.
Blind Justice
15th-level Justiciar Feature
When making an attack roll, you instead toss a coin. On heads, you score a critical hit, but on tails, you score a critical failure.
