Breastplate of Promotion

Armor (breastplate), uncommon (requires attunement)

A plain looking breastplate, covered in a sheen of anticipation and ambition as if it were to say 'you will go far'. As you grow in reputation, medals and commemorations magically appear on the armor, reminding you of your journey. Upon losing attunement, all medals fade away forever.

Whenever you level up, choose one of the following benefits:

• You gain a +1 bonus to any skill check.
• You gain a +1 bonus to all death saving throws.
• Whenever you take damage, you take 1 less.
• Whenever you are hit by a melee attack, your attacker takes 1 psychic damage.

Losing attunement makes you lose all acquired benefits.
