How to find your Genshin installation path

99% OF NEW USERS WILL GET THIS STEP WRONG BECAUSE THEY HAVE 2 GAME PATH AND ALWAYS ASK WHY DOESN'T WORK

  1. Open your Genshin Launcher
  2. Click the list icon Alt text

  5. Click use another folder
  6. Right click the file path and copy. Alt text
  7. Open your akebi and wait for popup that ask for path Alt text
  8. When game launch, wait for popup

    1. First time setup is better to go in window mode so you can see the console popup after the game launch.

    2. Copy the license key starting from AKEBI-30DAYFULL-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX and right click into the console when popup. Alt text
    3. Press enter.
    4. Wait for a while for the cheat to inject properly.
  9. Press F1 or FN + F1 to open game menu.

[!TIP]

  • After open menu, go to setting tab change your language (if you want) and show info window so next time when you open the game and wait you will know if is injected before you enter the game.
  • First time setup is better to go in window mode so you can see the console popup after the game launch.
  • When game launch, focus the game and press Alt + enter to go window mode. After enter the key and able to open the menu by clicking F1 or FN + F1, press the key again to go back fullscreen mode.

[!WARNING]

  • No need to rush enter world, right click anywhere in the game to focus only until the cheat is successfully implemented. Wait until everything is successfully loaded, only after that you can enter your world and do in general anything!!!
  • Do not move to the cheat with special characters! (only alphabet), if your user name is special characters, put it in C:\Program Files launch from there.

  1. Make sure you have antivirus off or make exception, Windows defender refer here : Windows defender
  2. No overlay software enabled, e.g: MSI Overlay software, Translucent TB
  3. Make sure you have extract file to its folder Alt text
  4. NO putting folder in C:/, atleast in C:\Program Files.
  5. School or some vpn will have firewall block, if you see that your akebi can't make it through the login screen. you might wanna use/change vpn. Recomend VPN: WARP VPN
  6. If you have Onedrive enabled, right click akebi folder and select Always keep on this device. To know you have onedrive sync, look image below: Alt text Alt text

1. Akebi console says game succesfully injected but game doesn't launch.

  1. check if your game path is correct in the ini file. (USE GENSHIN LAUNCHER AS YOUR GUIDELINE, DONT JUST SEE GenshitWeebpact.exe AND THINK YOU GOT IT RIGHT, NO IS NOT!) REFER BACK TO How to find your game path folder directory
  2. Find each folder (open using notepad) until you see something similar like this:

  3. Check is your antivirus off (3rd party AV like Kaspersky is very annoying, you should remove it πŸ‘)

2. My akebi has update but always fail, how do I update?

  1. You can ask reseller for new link to download, delete the old exe and replace the new one.
  2. Download updates or just the cheat itself can be downloaded from the direct link. Use Firefox or Brave browser as chrome browser will show refused to connect.

How to migrate setting to Akebi

[!TIP] First make sure your Akebi does run and is able to open menu.

Starting 4.3 version, the exe will be gibberish you will have to find the correct cfg file since the extension are different for each users.

5. How should I make exception to Akebi?

You should make exception to whole folder instead of the exe.

The exe after setup will change its name.

Example in Windows Defender: click the folder and select whole Akebi folder Alt text

6. My application says injector failed. Please restart your device

Close background appplication. I found out that CE, WeMod 3rd party cheat might conflict with the injector. Have VPN off/on to check.

7. Error 6: The handle is invalid

Change your WINDOWS account to aministrative, don't use other account with have no total Admin rights.

    1. Create a folder name akebi or anything (ONLY ALPHABET CHARACTERS)
    2. Enter the folder then right click press Open in terminal.
