ΛΑΝ Voting Process
This document exists to serve as a record and reference of the ΛΑΝ voting process for electing & nominating new officers.
Roles and their process
- President: Elected
- Vice-president of Administration: Elected
- Webmaster: Nominated
- Vice-president of Service Activities: Elected
- Vice-president of Standards: Elected
- Standards Board Members: Elected
- Risk Management Officer: Elected
- Vice-president of Social Affairs: Elected
- Historian: Nominated
- Solidarity Officer: Nominated
- Marketing Officer: Nominated
- Vice-president of New Member services: Elected
- Pledge Trainer(s): Nominated
- Capstone Officer: Nominated
- Treasurer: Elected
Voting
To be elected, you must have a simple majority in the ranked voting system LAN uses.

Requirements
Below are the requirements in order to be elected in these positions.
President Requirements
- Must be an active with LAN for at least a year.
- Must not have completed a full term in that position.
General Requirements
- Must be an active with LAN.
- Must not have completed a full term in that position.
Nominating
To be nominated the higher officer must chose you which must be approved by a 2/3rds vote of the Board.
