Wooded Island

Straight outta 2010!

The Wooded Island is based off of terrain generation from Minecraft: Java Edition beta versions. It is covered in woods, and has some significant height variation.

Generation

The Wooded Island (traverse:wooded_island) generates out in the middle of Deep Oceans, and they feature beaches more reminiscent of the Beta era.

Climate

The climate of these biomes is roughly that of the Forest biome, but can't you just feel the coastal breezes on the Wooded Island shores?

Trivia

The Wooded Island is a biome partially inspired by a biome from the mod Extra Biomes, the Forested Islands, which looked like this:
