One of our team's ideas was the creation of an autonomous system, where human intervention is limited near zero.The job on the asteroid is done by the "Termites", scanning and mining robots able to communicate with each other.
Taking favor of machine learning "Termites" will hopefully be able to take "decisions" regarding mining.Examples given:
- Survey (scanning) robots detect metals and "call" driller robots to extract them at a specific region on the selected asteroid.
- Driller robots communicate so as to "share" the region.
- In case water is found in the same region, metal miners-"termites" "call" water mining robots, etc.
