Meeting Calendar - TenthPres/TouchPoint-WP GitHub Wiki

Post a public listing of upcoming events, based on Meetings in TouchPoint

Setup

To enable, go to Settings > TouchPoint-WP > Basic Settings and select "Enable Meeting Calendar"

A new settings tab will appear, "Meeting Calendar". Here you can specify what to call these meetings ("Events" is typical) and what the slug should be that prefixes their URLs.

The Involvements tab in the TouchPoint-WP settings will also have a new option, "Import All Meetings to Calendar". By by enabling this, when an Involvement is imported from TouchPoint, all of its meetings will also be imported and displayed on the calendar.

To show and feature an event on the calendar, go to the Involvement's page in TouchPoint > Registration > Mobile/Sites and check the box for "Show in Sites". Photos from this page will also be imported. When the next synchronization of involvements happens overnight, any meetings for these involvements will be featured on the calendar.

For Mobile App Version 2

If your church is still on mobile app version 2, you can still have your app events list be automatically synced from TouchPoint Meetings to your app. To do this, enable the Meeting Calendar as described above, and then go to the "App 2.0 Calendar" tab in the TouchPoint-WP settings. From there, you'll get a link that you can put into the TouchPoint App management interface. This will allow the app to pull in the events from the calendar matching your website.
