UH‐60 Black Hawk - TelluriumCrystal/warno_realism_mod GitHub Wiki
Overview
The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk is a medium-lift transport and light attack helicopter developed in the 1970s. It has since become a ubiquitous transport helicopter for the US Army and serves many roles including transport, medivac, electronic warfare, C2, and close air support. There is an extremely wide range of variants, but the primary utility variants include the UH-60A, UH-60C, UH-60L, UH-60V, and UH-60M.

Note: this should probably be renamed to the "UH-60C CO", as that was a variant of the UH-60 specifically meant for C2 operations but was otherwise (presumably) identical to the UH-60A.

Rationales
-
According to [1], the maximum speed of the UH-60A at sea level and 20 C is between 143 and 155 knots TAS, depending on the aircraft's gross weight. However, it is unlikely that a UH-60A would ever fly at this speed except in absolute emergencies. Thus, a more reasonable speed to select is the speed at which the aircraft achieves its maximum range, which happens to be around 133 knots TAS (246 km/h) for all gross weights.
-
According to [1], the fuel flow rate when flying at the maximum range speed is between 940 and 1140 lb/hr depending on the aircraft's gross weight. The average value will be used to calculate endurance, which is equivalent to 1040 lb/hr. JP-8 weighs about 6.7 lbs/gallon, so this converts to 587.5698 L/hr. An aircraft flying at 133 knots TAS will travel 246 km in one hour. Thus, with a total fuel capacity of 2725 L, a UH-60A will be able to travel a total distance of 1140.88 km.
-
The UH-60 features a cockpit with a high degree of visibility and multiple flight crew members with a good view of the aircraft's surroundings, meeting the requirements for a "Normal" rating per the established standard.
