  • Can be fed to Honeycomb Brood Block by hand or Dispenser for a 30% chance of growing the larva.

  • Can be fed to any mob that extends Bee to heal them slightly and spawn a heart particle.

  • Works with Dispensers too! The Dispenser can place the Sugar Water like any other buck of fluid.

  • Works on many waterloggable blocks to make them waterlogged with vanilla Water even if they only support vanilla Water.

  • Attempting to place the Sugar Water into Nether or other dimensions that disallows Water will empty the Sugar Water Bucket and spawn a Sugar item at the spot instead of the fluid. The Sugar drop is controlled by this loot table if you want to change the drops: the_bumblezone:fluids/sugar_water_evaporates

  • (1.20.1 and newer) Placing Sugar Water above Dripstone will make the Dripstone fill a Cauldron below with Water!

Honey Bucket
  • A sticky delicious fluid that can be crafted from 1 Empty Bucket + 4 Honey Bottles. Can also be reversed by crafting 1 Honey Bucket + 4 Glass Bottle together back into 4 Honey Bottles.

  • (1.20.1+) Can be crafted from 1 Honey Block + 1 Empty Bucket! Putting just a Honey Bucket into crafting allows for reversing back to Honey Block and Empty Bucket.

  • Can place Honey Fluid anywhere and can also be obtained by using a Empty Bucket on a Honey Fluid source block. (Works with Dispensers too)

  • Using Honey Bucket on Porous Honeycomb block will turn it and 2 neighboring Porous Honeycomb blocks into Filled Porous Honeycomb blocks.

  • Using Honey Bucket on Honeycomb Brood block will fully grow the larva straight to its final stage.

  • This is the favorite food for Beehemoths!

  • Trying to use this item in ultrawarm dimensions like Nether will place Glistering Honey Crystal block instead of the fluid.

Royal Jelly Bottle
  • Obtainable by completing The Queen's Desire advancements you get from the Bee Queen as each advancement will give one Royal Jelly Bottle. The advancements unlock when you first trade with the Bee Queen. When you finished all the The Queen's Desire advancements, you can double right click the Bee Queen to reset this advancement line to repeat for more Royal Jelly Bottles!

  • Very rarely appears in Honey Cocoons in Sempiternal Sanctums structures.

  • Drinking this item will restore huge amounts of Hunger and gives Speed Boost 2, Jump Boost 4, Slow Falling 1, and Beenergized 2!

  • It will also remove Poison, Weakness, and Slowness status effects when drank as well.

  • You can trade this item back to the Bee Queen for a chance at some valuable rewards!

  • Can be fed to bees to give extremely high and long lived Beenergized effect (and also grants very high friendship points with Beehemoths).

  • Can be fed to bees to give extremely high and insanely long lived Beenergized effect (and also turns Beehemoths straight into Queen Behemoths).

  • Trading this back to the Bee Queen can give you a chance at extremely valuable rewards!

  • Can be used in Dispensers too!

  • Trying to use this item in ultrawarm dimensions like Nether will place Glistering Honey Crystal block instead of the fluid.

Honey Compass
  • A neat compass that when right clicked on beehives/bee nests, it will keep track of the block's position! When you right click the air in Bumblezone dimension, it will point to the closest Cell maze structure.

  • Can be switched between block tracking mode and structure tracking mode by doing the right click action for the other mode. (If the compass has enchantment glint look, the compass is "locked" and cannot switch modes nor locate any other structure)

  • Crafted from 1 Compass, 1 Pollen Puff, 1 Honey Bucket, and 1 Honey Crystal Shard.

  • Can be sometimes found in Honey Cocoons in a wide variety of structures.

  • A special form can be found rarely in the Honey Cocoon blocks in Cell Maze, Battle Cubes, and Honitel structures where it will only point to the closest Throne Pillar structure where a Bee Queen lives. This special compass will have the name "Honey Compass - Throne Pillar!"

    • If you go to a Throne Pillar that does not have a Bee Queen, the compasses locating the structure will respawn the Bee Queen. (Note, the compasses will become marked in your inventory if you enter the structure it was locating regardless of if the Bee Queen is there or not. And once marked, that compass cannot respawn the Bee Queen. You'll need a new fresh compass) This is controlled by the beeQueenRespawning config option.
  • In quite a few structures, a third form of this Honey Compass can be found where it will point to the closest "mystery" structure. Explore to see what that mystery structure is!

  • Honey Compasses can be renamed by Anvil if you want to keep track of what the compass is pointing at!

  • Turn on advanced tooltips to see distance to whatever the compass is locked onto. This is more of a debug thing but can be used if you want to see how far you have to travel.

(1.20+) Dirt Pellet
  • A clump of hard dirt that can be thrown to deal weak damage and high knockback. (Dispensers can fire the Dirt Pellet too)

  • Can be crafted from Coarse Dirt and Rooted Dirt together.

  • Rootmins attack by shooting Dirt Pellets at targets. If you hit the Dirt Pellet in midair, it can be redirected back at the shooter like Ghast fireballs!

  • When thrown or shot like a Snowball, the Dirt Pellet deals 1 point of damage. However, it will deal 3 points of damage to most flying mobs (modded included)! Controlled by these entity tags to change what will receive bonus damage:

    the_bumblezone:dirt_pellet/extra_damage_dealt_to

    the_bumblezone:dirt_pellet/forced_no_extra_damage_dealt_to

Pollen Puff
  • A ball of pollen that can be thrown like a snowball but will not deal any damage or pushback. (Dispensers can fire the Pollen Puff too)

  • When it hits a block, it will try to spawn a Pile of Pollen block. (If in midair, it'll turn into a falling block)

  • Will make pandas sneeze if thrown at them.

  • If it hits an unpollinated bee, it will pollinate them (Modded bees can be added to the the_bumblezone:pollen_puff/can_pollinate tag that controls what bee can be pollinated)

  • If it hits a flower, the flower may reproduce! Use the_bumblezone:pollen_puff/multiplying_forced_disallowed_flowers block tag to prevent certain flowers from being able to be reproduced by pollen puff. (NOTE: Pollen Puff will not multiply Pitcher Plants, Wither Rose, or Chorus Flower for balance reasons)

  • If it hits Mooshrooms, it may spawn small mushrooms nearby if the mushroom can be placed! Red Mooshrooms spawns Red Mushrooms and Brown Mooshrooms spawn Brown Mushrooms. More mobs that spawn plants when hit can be introduced by adding new json files to \data\the_bumblezone\bz_pollen_puff_entity_flowers\ folder in a datapack. (Also, did you know a Red Mooshroom turns into a brown Mooshroom when struck by lighting??? I sure as heck didn't lol...)

  • Throwing Pollen Puff at a Sniffer will spawn Moss Carpet nearby!

  • Throwing Pollen Puff at Snow Golems with Pumpkin still on will spawn Pumpkin Stem on nearby Farmland/valid blocks!

  • Can be obtained by mining Pile of Pollen or by right clicking a pollinated bee while holding Water Bottle, Sugar Water Bottle, Water Bucket, or Wet Sponge. The bee will become unpollinated and drops a Pile of Pollen. (Should work with modded bees too)

Bee Bread
  • A gross-looking food item that is a pellet of fermented pollen and honey mixed together. When consumed, it gives a lot of nutrition, Beenergized effect for 5 minutes, and a few seconds of Nausea.

  • If fed to Bees or Beehemoth, it gives 5 minutes of Beenergized effect to the bee along with healing the bee a bit. You can keep feeding the bee to stack up the Beenergized effect to level 3. This special effect makes the bee move even faster so higher level means more speed!

  • Feeding bees this food also has a good chance of getting Protection of the Hive effect while removing Wrath of the Hive effect off of you! Calming down any bee that is anger at you if you’re lucky.

  • Can be created by combining Pollen Puffs with Honey Bottles or Honey Buckets. Mining Honeycomb Brood Blocks have a chance of dropping a Bee Bread too.

  • Can be used as low-damage ammo for Bows, Crossbows, or any modded weapon that takes minecraft:arrows tagged items. When fired, it has a chance of inflicting poison, weakness, slowness, or paralysis effects on non-undead mobs. Poison is inflicted first. If it hits mob with poison, it has chance of inflicting weakness. And chance of slowness if mob has weakness. And finally, chance of paralysis if the mob still has slowness. Basically the effects stack up but only if the mob has the previous effects still active. So fire quickly!

  • Can be right clicked on stinger-less bees to put a stinger back onto them.

  • Can craft Stinger Spear when combined with two sticks in a line. Also can repair Stinger Spears.

  • Can be used with Brewing Stand to create a Long Poison Potion! (Config option exists to disable this)

But beware, trying to block fire damage and explosive damage with the shield will destroy the shield very quickly! Yes, Fireballs and Fireworks will also greatly damage the shield so be careful!

  • Every time you substantially repair it with Honey Crystal Shards, it'll increase in some levels. Level 10 is maximum level. For every 20% you repair, the level will increased by 1. So repairing 60% of the shield all at once in anvil will increase level by 3.

    # # #
    # # #
       #

  • (1.21+) Use the the_bumblezone:enchantables/stinger_spear_forced_disallowed enchantment tag to prevent unwanted enchantments on Stinger Spear. And use the_bumblezone:enchantables/stinger_spear_extra_allow to allow extra enchantments on the spear!

(1.20+) Essence of Life
(1.20+) Essence of Calming
  • An endgame item only obtainable by defeating the blue Sempiternal Sanctum's event! Specifically the item comes from this loot table: the_bumblezone:gameplay/rewards/blue_arena_victory

  • Holding this item in offhand will make mobs nearby no longer get angry at you! (Let me know if a modded mob still attacks you while this essence is active)

  • The effect is lost early if player gets hurt by any mob or attacks any mob. If the player sprints while it is active, the item loses power crazy quickly! No rushing!

  • It has 600 use (seconds) before it is depleted and needs 10 minutes to recharge by being in the inventory of a player that had consumed Essence of the Bees in the past.

  • The entity type tag the_bumblezone:essence/calming/allow_anger_through can be used to mark entities that should keep staying angry at players with this calming effect active. Note, due to a mob's implementations, this tag may not always work but let me know if it fails so I can investigate the specific use case.

  • The visual HUD effects of the item can be adjusted with the essenceItemHUDVisualEffectLayers and essenceItemHUDVisualEffectSpeed config options. This is the spinning spikes being the hotbar that shows up when item is equipped in offhand. You can slow down effect, stop the spinning, reduce the layers, or set essenceItemHUDVisualEffectLayers to 0 to turn off the effect entirely.

(1.20+) Essence of Knowing

The block tags you can edit are these. Disable highlight tag overrides all tags and configs:

This structure tag lets you hide certain structures from displaying their name on screen when using this item:

  • the_bumblezone:essence/knowing/prevent_displaying_name

  • The visual HUD effects of the item can be adjusted with the essenceItemHUDVisualEffectLayers and essenceItemHUDVisualEffectSpeed config options. This is the spinning spikes being the hotbar that shows up when item is equipped in offhand. You can slow down effect, stop the spinning, reduce the layers, or set essenceItemHUDVisualEffectLayers to 0 to turn off the effect entirely.

(1.20+) Essence of Continuity
  • An endgame item only obtainable by defeating the white Sempiternal Sanctum's event! Specifically the item comes from this loot table: the_bumblezone:gameplay/rewards/white_arena_victory

  • Holding this item in offhand will make dying not kill you and instead teleport you back to your respawn point with all health restored, hunger bar filled, neutral and negative status effects removed, and fire removed. Will work in hardcore worlds too!

  • It only has 1 use before it is depleted and needs 40 minutes to recharge by being in the inventory of a player that had consumed Essence of the Bees in the past. Upon use, it will also set cooldown on all other Essence of Continuity that player has as well due to how powerful this item is.

  • Upon prevention of death, the item will also give you a Written Book with details of where you were and how you almost died.

  • The visual HUD effects of the item can be adjusted with the essenceItemHUDVisualEffectLayers and essenceItemHUDVisualEffectSpeed config options. This is the spinning spikes being the hotbar that shows up when item is equipped in offhand.
