Blocks and Fluids 🧱 - TelepathicGrunt/Bumblezone GitHub Wiki
Sugar Water
A Water-like block found commonly in Bumblezone! It has nearly all the traits of normal Water down to allowing fishing, have Bubble Columns over Soul Sand/Magma Blocks, hydrates Farmland, keeps Coral alive, and in 1.20.1+ is when it works with Dripstone to create Water Cauldrons below, and more!
Speeds up the growth of Sugar Cane when placed next to it! The effect stacks for the Sugar Cane for every adjacent Sugar Water next to it up to 4. It will also grow Sugar Cane to a height of 5 blocks too!
Reacts with Lava to be a renewable source of Sugar Water Cobblestone or Sugar Water Stone which is used in some Bumblezone recipes.
Sugar Water Bottle is made when using Glass Bottle on this fluid. And Sugar Water Bucket is obtained by using a Bucket on Sugar Water source block or crafting a Water Bucket with 1 Sugar. Can be used to move the water around. Normal Water can be turned into Sugar Water when it is touching Glistering Honey Crystal or when Honey Crystal is waterlogged.
Attempting to place the Sugar Water into Nether or other dimensions that disallows Water will empty the Sugar Water Bucket and spawn a Sugar item at the spot instead of the fluid. The Sugar drop is controlled by this loot table if you want to change the drops: the_bumblezone:fluids/sugar_water_evaporates
Honey Fluid
Flows slowly in a cool unique way downwards but does not renew itself like Water does. In warmer biomes, the fluid will flow even faster! In colder biomes, it'll flower slower. Trying to place this fluid by bucket in ultrawarm dimensions like Nether will turn this into Glistering Honey Crystal block.
Heals bees that touch source Honey Fluid while slowing all mobs in it.
Reacts with any neighboring non-honey/non-lava fluid to create Glistering Honey Crystal blocks!
Reacts with any neighboring lava fluid to create Sugar Infused Stone or Sugar Infused Cobblestone blocks
Source blocks can be picked up by bucket or turned into a non-source block by using a glass bottle on it. (Dispensers with bucket and glass bottles can pick it up too)
Royal Jelly Fluid
Flows slowly in a cool unique way downwards but does not renew itself like Water does. In warmer biomes, the fluid will flow even faster! In colder biomes, it'll flower slower. Trying to place this fluid by bucket in ultrawarm dimensions like Nether will turn this into Glistering Honey Crystal block.
Heal any hurt bee that flies into the fluid and give them a Beenergized and Regenerative effect.
(Dispensers with bucket and glass bottles can pick it up too)
Royal Jelly Block
A solidified storage form of Royal Jelly! Can be crafted from 4 Royal Jelly Bottles in a square. This block plus 4 Glass Bottles will craft 4 Royal Jelly Bottles again.
It behaves similar to vanilla's Honey Block except for the fact that it can only be "pulled" by pistons and not pushed! Give it some thought and see what kind of awesome moving Redstone builds you can do with this!
Filled Porous Honeycomb Block
Use Glass Bottle on this block to obtain a Honey Bottle and turn this block into a Porous Honeycomb Block. However, you will get a Wrath of the Hive effect if you do this. A Dispenser with a Glass Bottle can also pull honey out of this block and turn it into a regular Porous Honeycomb Block.
You walk 10% slower on this block but barely noticeable.
Use a Silk Touch enchantment to drop this block. Otherwise, mining it will drop a Honeycomb and a Porous Honeycomb Block. Fortune enchantment can increase Honeycomb drops as well.
Attaching a Comparator to this block will always output a Redstone power of 1.
Hurt Bees touching this block will be healed up to 4 points of health and this block turns into a Porous Honeycomb Block.
Porous Honeycomb Block
Use a Honey Bottle on this block to turn this block into a Filled Porous Honeycomb Block.
Use a Honey Bucket on this block to turn this block and 2 neighboring Porous Honeycomb Block into Filled Porous Honeycomb Block.
When mined, this block drops itself.
If a pollinated bee touches this block, this block transforms into Filled Porous Honeycomb Block and turns the bee to be unpollinated!
Honeycomb Brood Block
Watch the larva inside grow through 4 stages over time! When at the 4th stage and this block gets ticked, it will spawn a Bee only if the hole in front isn't blocked off and there is less than 10 bees within 50 blocks of the block. After the bee is spawned, the block then resets back to having a stage 1 of the larva. Sometime, a Honey Slime will spawn too with the Bee!
The larva grows much faster in The Bumblezone dimension but will still grow outside of it. You can speed up the stages of growth for this block by feeding it Honey Bottles, Sugar Water Bottle, or Honey Buckets. Many modded honey foods will work. You can use a Dispenser with Honey Bottles or Sugar Water Bottles right next to the block to automate the growing and spawning of bees with this block! The items that can be fed to this block is controlled by the_bumblezone:bee_feedable_items tag. Search

Feeding this block gives a chance of getting Protection of the Hive effect! Not always but there is a chance! (In 1.20+, spawning a bee from the block will always give the protection effect)
- Every time the block grows up in one stage, you have 30% chance of getting Protection of the Hive.
If you use a Glass Bottle on this block, you will get a Honey Bottle, turn this block into an Empty Honeycomb Brood Block, and you will get Wrath of the Hive effect. A Dispenser with a Glass Bottle can also pull honey out of this block and turn it into an Empty Honeycomb Brood Block.
If you are near this block and you have Wrath of the Hive, this block will grow the larva and spawn bees much, much faster! Stay away from these blocks when bees are unleashing their wrath!
When mined, this block drops Empty Honeycomb Brood Block, a Honeycomb, and sometimes a Bee Bread item. Since you killed the larva by mining this block, you get Wrath of the Hive effect as well. But if you use a Silk Touch pickaxe, you can get Honeycomb Brood Block instead without angering the bee or getting the effect. Fortune enchantment can increase Honeycomb drops as well.
Attaching a Comparator to this block will output Redstone power based on what stage the larva is in the block (1 to 4 power).
Empty Honeycomb Brood Block
Mostly a decorative block but certain events can be revive this block back to being a Honeycomb Brood Block with a larva. These events are:
If a pollinated bee touches this block, this block transforms into filled Honeycomb Brood Block with a larva and turns the bee to be unpollinated!
If placed inside a Honey Cocoon block alongside a the_bumblezone:bee_feedable_items tagged item like Honey Bottles, the Honey Cocoon will slowly turn the Empty Honeycomb Brood Block into a Honeycomb Brood Block with a larva inside and consume the bee feeding item. This happens if the Honey Cocoon is not waterlogged and is randomly ticked. Search

Giving this block to the Bee Queen will have her return a Honeycomb Brood Block with the larva inside!
Some mod's Bottled Bee item or Potion of Bees items can revive this block back to being a Honeycomb Brood Block with a larva inside! Typically by right clicking, dispenser, or throwing the item (if throwable potion).
Honey Cocoon
A storage block found in Cell Maze structure, Honeycomb Cave structure, and Bee Dungeons. They are often filled with loot! And are also very flammable where fire will melt and destroy the cocoon which will spill its items.
When broken, they drop themselves and all items unless you use Silk Touch, then they keep their items inside like Shulker Boxes do. They can be named by Anvil just like any other container item as well.
Shulker Boxes and Honey Cocoons cannot be placed into each other. Honey Cocoons cannot have other cocoons placed inside either.
Honey Cocoons can stack as an item but only when they are empty. If they contain items, they cannot be stacked similar to Shulker Boxes.
When hovering over them in inventory, a tooltip appears saying what items are inside the Honey Cocoon item!
When randomly ticked and not waterlogged, this block can turn Empty Honeycomb Brood Blocks items into Honeycomb Brood Blocks with larvas inside. This process happens slowly over time if the Empty Honeycomb Brood Block is placed inside this cocoon with a the_bumblezone:bee_feedable_items tagged item like Honey Bottles as well which will get consumed. If waterlogged with water above, they will pop items out to above over time. Like the items are floating out of the block!
Honey Crystal
A pretty translucent crystallized honey block that can face any direction and can only be placed on solid sides of blocks.
This block can be waterlogged but will transform any water liquid placed into it into Sugar Water instead.
Can be found underwater or in caves in The Bumblezone dimension. This is a non-renewable resource so treasure them! They are most common in Hive Wall biome and lest common in Sugar Water biome.
When mined, this block drops Honey Crystal Shards (works with Fortune enchantment to increase drops). If you mine with Silk Touch, this block drops itself instead.
Glistering Honey Crystal
A glowing light source of crystallized honey. Great for décor or lighting! Found only in Crystal Canyon biome in Bumblezone. Can also be crafted from 4 Honey Crystal Shards in a 2x2 pattern.
Gives a high amount of Honey Crystal Shards when mined which can be increased by Fortune enchantment up to a max of 4. Silk Touch enchantment is needed to drop this block itself.
Can be smelted into a ton of Sticky Honey Residue in a Furnace. Also transform neighboring water source blocks into sugar water.
If combined with an Awkward Potion in a Brewing Stand, it will create a Potion of Luck! The most common benefit of Luck status is it may improve the loot drops of certain datapack/modded loot tables. (Config option exists to disable this block from being used as brewing ingredient)
Converts neighboring Water tagged fluids into Sugar Water fluid!
Should not suffocate mobs stuck inside it and will also block Redstone block in the same strange way that Glowstone blocks the power.
Sticky Honey Residue
A very sticky block that can be placed on multiple solid surfaces at once and is created by smelting the following in a Furnace: Honey Crystal blocks, Honey Crystal Shards items, Honey Crystal Shields, or vanilla's Honey blocks. Breaking this block will drop nothing.
When any entity touches this block, they move extremely slowly unless the mob is in this entity type tag: the_bumblezone:sticky_honey_residue/cannot_slow. This block can also be climbed if it is on a wall.
You can quickly delete this block by right clicking it with water bucket, sugar water bottle, bottle of water, or a wet sponge in your hand as if you are washing away the stickiness. The item will not be consumed. (In 1.20+, you can add items to the
the_bumblezone:washing_items
item tag to allow them to wash this block away)Flowing fluids and pushing pistons will break this block as well.
Spawns as patches on surfaces in the Bumblezone dimension.
(1.20+) Swords can mine this block a little bit faster
Sticky Honey Redstone
This block has all the behavior of Sticky Honey Residue. And can be created by crafting 1 Sticky Honey Residue with 1 Redstone.
When an entity gets stuck on this block, this block outputs a Redstone signal of 1 which is pretty useful for Redstone contraptions! (Also will give off a light level of 1 when powered)
When activated, this block will power whatever block it is attached to and also power through that block as well like turning off a Redstone Torch on the other side. If Sticky Honey Residue is attached to the floor, it will power any adjacent blocks attached to it as well such as Redstone dust on the floor.
Honey Web
Also a very sticky block that can be placed anywhere and does not need to be attached to a block! Can be crafted from 3 Sticky Honey Residues in a vertical row. Breaking this block will drop nothing.
When any entity touches this block, they move extremely slowly unless the mob is in this entity type tag: the_bumblezone:honey_web/cannot_slow. Bees can fly through without slowness.
Spawns as large blocking walls in the caves of the Bumblezone dimension.
(1.20+) Swords can mine this block a little bit faster
Redstone Honey Web
This block has all the behaviors of Honey Web. And can be created by crafting 1 Honey Web with 1 Redstone. It can also be crafted from 3 Sticky honey Redstone in a vertical row.
When an entity gets stuck on this block, this block outputs a Redstone signal of 15! (Also will give off a light level of 1 or 2 when powered depending on its power)
When activated, this block will power whatever block it is attached to and spread the power to neighboring attached Redstone Honey Webs as well like it is Redstone Dust. The catch is, this block cannot receive Redstone power from any block except for other Redstone Honey Webs. So it can give off and spread power to neighboring Redstone receiving blocks but it cannot be used as a full replacement for Redstone Dust.
Sugar Infused Stone
Can be found in some Bumblezone structure or created when Lava touches a source block Sugar Water fluid.
If placed in a Furnace, the sugar can be quickly burned off for some quick cheap XP.
If you are playing v6.2.10 or newer Bumblezone, mining this block will drop itself. If you are using an older version of Bumblezone, you need to use Silk Touch to make this block drop itself. Otherwise, this block drops Sugar and Cobblestone in older Bumblezone.
This is an ingredient needed to craft or repair Bee Cannon item.
Sugar Infused Cobblestone
Can be found in some Bumblezone structure or created when Lava touches a NON-source block Sugar Water fluid. (Flowing Sugar Water. Not the source block)
Beehive Beeswax
Merely a decorative block that can be found forming the ceiling and floor boundaries of The Bumblezone Dimension.
Can be used to craft Bee Nests Blocks by placing 8 Beehive Beeswax blocks in a circle with a Honeycomb in the center at a Crafting Table! The crafting shape is the following with B being Beehive Beeswax and H being Honeycomb item.
B B B
B H B
B B BCan be smelted down into Carvable Wax
(1.20+) Axes can mine this block faster
Carvable Wax
A neat wax block that spawns in Crystal Canyon biome that when you right click with a Sword or Shear, it will change its pattern! Very useful for décor!
Can be made from smelting Beehive Beeswax or by crafting 9 Honeycombs together in Crafting Table.
Some patterns will face a different direction depending on how you place it. Mining this block will drop the item form of its pattern!
Patterns are Uncarved, Wavy, Flower, Chiseled, Diamond, Bricks, Chains, Music, and Grate. The last two are only available in 1.20+.
(1.20+) Ancient Wax
Old dense wax that has very high blast resistance and comes in 3 main patterns of Bricks, Diamond, and Compound Eyes.
This block is uncraftable from scratch but you can switch between the 3 forms by Shears or crafting. Can be crafted into stairs or slabs. However, Stonecutter has more efficient recipe for making stairs/slabs.
Players who never consumed Essence of the Bees item before and are standing on these Ancient Wax blocks will get Slowness, Weakness, and Mining Fatigue.
Only found in certain structures as the main source of this non-renewable block. Treasure it or make a large build with it as bragging rights!
(1.20+) Luminescent Wax
A special form of wax that is imbued with unknown magical powers! It has very high blast resistance and comes in 7 different colors of unlit, red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and white. It also has 3 different patterns of Channel, Corner, and Node forms. Lots of building options!
This block drops the lit color forms only if mined by a player that had consumed Essence of the Bees item. Otherwise, the non-lit form is dropped when block is broken.
This block is uncraftable from scratch. With Shears, you can rotate this block to face different directions easier. Each pattern can be crafted to another pattern easily. To craft Corner, make an L shape with 3 of the same color and pattern Luminescent Wax. To craft Channel, make a straight line with 3 of the blocks. To craft node, place 3 of the blocks in a v shape. All of these blocks can be crafted into their lightless form by just placing that block alone into crafting.
Players who never consumed Essence of the Bees item before and are standing on these Ancient Wax blocks will get Slowness, Weakness, and Mining Fatigue. However, for player do did consume Essence of the Bees, standing on the light form of these blocks will give a short-lived Speed, Damage Resistance, and Beenergized effects!
The light forms will scare away both Piglins and Hoglins and also will count towards empowering Enchanting Table like Bookshelves do. Lightless form will not have these benfits.
Only found in certain structures as the main source of this non-renewable block. Treasure it or make a large build with it as bragging rights!
String Curtain
An awesome decorative block that also blocks flying insects from being able to pass through it! All other mobs and entities can walk through the curtain without issue.
To craft a String Curtain, the crafting shape is the following with T being Sticks, S being String, G being Glass, and D being an optional Dye. The dye determines the curtain color. No dye makes white curtains.
T T T
S G S
S D SYou can change any String Curtain's color to another color by crafting it with another dye.
The curtain can be placed on the sides or underside of a block and when right clicked with a String in hand, the curtain will be extended. Breaking the extended parts will return String back to you while breaking the base block will return the curtain item.
The tags this curtain uses for controlling what mob it blocks is handled in the the_bumblezone:string_curtains/blocks_pathfinding_for_non_bee_mob entity type tag. You can also use the the_bumblezone:string_curtains/force_allow_pathfinding to override that tag and base behavior to force allow bees to be able to move through this block.
(1.20+) String Curtains should block vibration detections if the curtain is between a sound source like a mob and a listener like a Sculk Sensor.
Super Candle
A massive decorative bulky candle that gives off a ton of light! Can be dyed various colors through crafting (requires the uncolored candle plus 2 of the same dye color to dye the candle). To create the uncolored Super Candle, the crafting shape is the following with S being String and C being Carvable Wax.
S
C
CYou can change any Super Candle's color to another color by crafting it with 2 another dyes.
Can be lit and waterlogged the same way as regular Minecraft Candles. Also can be lit by flaming projectile hits as well or by Dispensers with Flint and Steel. Fun fact, lightning hitting the wick's space of this candle will light the wick. If the lightning hits the body of the candle, it'll destroy the candle!
When lit, any mob in the flame will be set on fire while taking low damage (Can be turned off with superCandlesBurnsMobs config option). Projectiles like arrows shot through the lit wick will also be set on fire!
Super Candles can be stacked and if Soul Sand/Soul Soil is placed under, it gets a soul flame that scares away Piglins!
If a Comparator is facing the Super Candle Base, it gets a power of 5 when lit. If Comparator is facing the Super Candle Wick, it will get a power of 3 when it is a soul flame and 5 when it is a normal flame.
Potion Candle
A powerful magical candle that radiates its effects to nearby entities! On the surface, this candle has all the same behaviors as the regular Super Candles. Except these powerful Potion Candles can be imbued with different status effects to grant nearby entities based on what potions are used to craft the Potion Candle.
To craft an Potion Candle, the crafting shape is the following with S being String, C being Carvable Wax, R being Royal Jelly Bottle, P being a Potion with a status effect. (Note, you can use 1 to 5 potions in the recipe. The potion and Royal Jelly Bottles can be anywhere in the grid. Only the S and C ingredients needs to be in that shape in any column)
R S P
P C P
P C PPotion Candles can also be crafted with a Super Candle + Royal Jelly Bottle + potions in any pattern as well.
These Candles can only have 1 status effect they can be imbued with. If multiple potions are being used and there is more than 1 kind of effect, 1 will be chosen at random for the resultant candle. You can pick up and put down an ingredient to try and reroll for a different status effect for the output candle.
The potions used in the crafting recipe will be analyzed to determine what the stats will be for the resultant Potion Candle such as Effect Level, Burn Time, Range, or Lingering Effect Time. Splash and Lingering potions have special boosts they give to certain stats too! Since multiple potions used will have their stats blended together, you should experiment to see how to make the best candle possible for a certain effect!
When the Potion Candle's power runs out, the candle will become unlit. Relighting the candle will restart its status effects it gives. See what kind of Potion Candles you can make based on different potion combinations!
You can disallow certain effects so Potion Candles cannot be created with that effect. To disallow an effect, override the the_bumblezone:potion_candle/disallowed_effects mob_effect tag. And in that tag file, list the mob effects you don't want able to be put into Potion Candles. Example,
["minecraft:night_vision", "minecraft:fire_resistance"]
(1.20.1 to 1.20.6) If an effect is super powerful and would be OP to have in a Potion Candle, you can limit the burn/linger time for the candle with that effect by adding the effect to either the_bumblezone:potion_candle/capped_to_1_minute_effects or the_bumblezone:potion_candle/capped_to_10_seconds_effects effect tag.
(1.21 and newer) You can balance Potion Candles around specific effects much easier now! Override these files or add new ones to change max effect level, burn duration, or effect lingering time for specific effects when attached to Potion Candles: data/the_bumblezone/bz_potion_candle_data
FYI for pack makers on 1.19.2, the registry name of this item is still the old name of
the_bumblezone:incense_candle
.
Crystalline Flower
An uncommon flower made of magical honey crystals! Spawns only in the Hanging Garden structure or in the Overgrown Flower structure. (A few other structures may have Crystalline Flower hidden in them...) The flower can only survive on Glistering Honey Crystals, Amethyst, or other crystalline-like blocks in this tag: the_bumblezone:crystalline_flower/can_be_placed_on.
Right click it to open up a GUI where you can grow the plant by giving it your XP or stacks of items to consume. You can also throw items or lure Experience Orbs to it for it to absorb. Grows up to 7 blocks (tiers) high before not absorbing anymore item or experience. Note, some items grant more progress towards upgrading the tiers. It takes roughly 32 player xp levels to reach max tier.
Put a Book or Enchanted Book into the enchantment side and you can select what enchantment you want to add to it! This will cost some tiers depending on the enchantment and its level. At the first available tier, all enchantments are level 1. More and higher level enchantments are available for higher flower tiers! But you cannot add more enchantments to books that have 3 or more enchantments already. If you mess up, you can feed the Enchanted Book back into flower to regain some flower XP.
When enchanting, the flower will decrease in size (tiers). When that happens, it drops Honey Crystal Shards with higher tiers dropping more!
Entities inside this block will take damage when they move. Use this to your advantage!
Breaking this block will break the entire plant but drops the flower as an item. Replanting the flower will make it go back to its original tier and xp progress! Take the flower with you on the go!
Comparators will output Redstone power equal to the flower's tier/height as well. Can be utilized to make a machine for the Crystalline Flower!
You can blacklist items from consumption, blacklist what enchantments are available withthe following tags:
the_bumblezone:crystalline_flower/cannot_consume (item tag)
the_bumblezone:crystalline_flower/can_be_enchanted (item tag)
the_bumblezone:crystalline_flower/xp_2_when_consumed (item tag)

In 1.21 and newer, you now can have finer control over how much xp items give. You can also disable the 1xp by default for most items too. To do this, visit this folder and override the files here or add brand new files to allow other kinds of xp amounts: /data/the_bumblezone/bz_crystalline_flower_data
There are 4 config options as well to turn off item entity consuming, experience orb consuming, UI item consuming button, and UI experience consuming button. Letting you control exactly how to grow the plant.
There is also another 3 config option called crystallineFlowerEnchantingPowerAllowedPerTier, crystallineFlowerExtraXpNeededForTiers, and crystallineFlowerExtraTierCost. These can be used to help balance the Crystalline Flower if you find it to be too strong by default in your modpack.
Technical info: To know what enchantment will show up in flower for a given tier and what level it'll be, check the crystallineFlowerEnchantingPowerAllowedPerTier config option. By default, this is set to 8. This means if your flower is tier 3, it'll have an Enchanting Power (also called Enchanting level) of 24.
Read this linked table that shows the Enchantment Power range needed for an enchantment and it's strength to show up (Look only at the smallest number in their ranged provided) https://minecraft.wiki/w/Enchanting/Levels. The flower will ignore the maximum part of the range. It only uses the minimum value of the range to know when to show the enchantment or when to show the next level for the enchantment. That means you can increase this config to show other mod's super ultra strong enchantments that requires more power or set it lower if you want to see less or weaker enchantments only.
Example: Fire Aspect 2 require an Enchanting Power of 30 before it shows up which means tier 3 flower is too weak to show it. But tier 4 which is 32 Enchanting Power can now let you select Fire Aspect 2. If we decreased the Enchantment Power per tier config to say 5, now tier 4 only gives an Enchantment Power of 20 and no longer can show Fire Aspect 2.
Pile of Pollen
Is a falling block that can be used to blind players or to hide (entities inside gets the Hidden status effect. See Hidden effect in Effects section below for more info).
Is only created when Pollen Puff item is thrown and hits a block. (In 1.20+, you can craft the item form of this block with 9 Pollen Puff as pollen storage)
Gives off pollen particles when any entity walks through it and slows down the entity based on how high the pile is.
Unpollinated bees will become pollinated when they touch the block which decrease the pile by 1 layer. (Modded bees can be added to the the_bumblezone:pollen_puff/can_pollinate tag that controls what bee can be pollinated).
Pandas in the block will sneeze significantly more often.
Breaking the block gives a little bit of Pollen Puff item but Fortune increases the drops. Shovels is the best tool for this block.
Redstone Comparators can measure the amount of layers this block has for contraptions.
(1.20+) String Curtains should block vibration detections if the curtain is between a sound source like a mob and a listener like a Sculk Sensor. Walking through it should also prevent vibration creation.
(1.20+) Suspicious Pile of Pollen
A block of Pollen that doesn't quite seem right. Brush it to see what items are stuck inside!
Has similar behaviors to normal Pile of Pollen except that it does not have layers, gets destroyed if it falls, and not very useful for Redstone Comparators. Rest of the behaviors should be the same.
Cannot be crafted or created. Only avaliable by natural world generation in structures or in Pollinated Fields biome. Also available in Creative Menu for builders but loot table will have to be set by command for it.
(1.20+) Windy Air
A block of powerful wind! Will push small entities and items in the direction that the wind blows. Iron Golems, Shulker, Vex, Bee Queen, and Sentry Watcher are immune to this block's effects due to their size, weight, block attachment, or ghostly presence. Windy Air is often encountered in some of Bumblezone's structures.
Can be obtained in survival by trading bee armor and tools with Bee Queen as a good way to convert those unstackable items into something useful!
Right click a block's face to place a Windy Air that blocks in opposite direction. Can remove Windy Air by placing another block in its space or mine it while holding Windy Air item.
Note, will be destroyed by block-breaking explosions nearby.
Add entities to this entity type tag to make them immune to this block's push effects:
the_bumblezone:windy_air/immune_to_push_effect
(1.20+) Heavy Air
Dense dusty air with a magical presence that pulls entities down to the ground. Entities inside will also lose Levitation, Slow Falling, and Jump Boost effects. Survival players with creative flight will lose the flight as well. Ghast, Blaze, Phantom, Allay, Vex, Bees, and Beehemoth are immune to this block's magical gravity properties.
Some tech mod's armor that grants flight abilities will get put on a cooldown to suppress flying.
Cannot be obtained in item form in survival but Creative players can get item from Creative Menu for building.
Add entities to this entity type tag to make them immune to this block's gravity effects:
the_bumblezone:heavy_air/immune_to_gravity_effect
(1.20+) Essence Blocks
Magical glowing blocks of essence! These are found in the heart of Sempiternal Sanctums and their color will match the sanctum's color.
After you had consumed Essence of the Bees in the past, touching these Essence Blocks will trigger an arena event! Each color has their own event. Come prepared as these events are difficult to beat but will give an endgame reward when you win! (See Sempiternal Sanctum under the Structures section for more info on the events)
By default, these events can be repeated after winning. Set repeatableEssenceEvents to false in config to disable being able to repeat the event after winning.
The endgame items that can be obtained from each Essence Blocks are (See their entry in Item section for more info on them):
Essence of Raging (red)
Essence of Radiance (yellow)
Essence of Life (green)
Essence of Calming (blue)
Essence of Knowing (purple)
Essence of Continuity (white)
If you have shaders on, they will disable the normal Essence Block's looks. The shaders can be manually disabled with
disableEssenceBlockShaders
config option as well. When the shaders are disabled, these alternative textures will be shown instead:
- The
the_bumblezone:essence/arena_does_not_replace
block tag can be used if you have a new graves mod whose block is getting lost when the arena event ends. Add the block to the tag and the blocks when places during the event will persistent to even after the event is over and arena despawns.
(1.20+) Infinity Barrier
A block made of hardened unknown magic that traps players in the Essence Block's arenas! Cannot be destroyed and if player manages to break it, it will set itself back and significantly damage the player as punishment.
Blocks cannot be right-click placed on Infinity Barrier so building areas in arenas are limited.
Comes in a variety of colors. Map makers can set the
