The risks small businesses take with their IT systems are sometimes quite astounding, but also at the same time, it is easy to understand why they are taking these risks. Large businesses today tend to secure their systems using Cisco routers and firewalls with the top of the range software to ensure their network is secured. Hackers that do gain access to the router will then be deterred because the hacker will also need to bypass the VPN software on the router. There are far easier pickings out there that a hacker can target as opposed to using more time to attempt a cyber attack on a router with a VPN.
