Sculk Horde Content Creation Quick Start Guide - TeamPeril/Sculk-Horde GitHub Wiki
Welcome
This guide was hand-crafted to help with the content creation process of Sculk Horde. Using this guide will help make sure the content you create is made as easy as possible.
Getting Started
- We have a Wiki. I would say about 90% of all things are documented.
- The Horde will not activate on it's own by default. You can activate it in the config (which can be enabled in game by typing
/sculkhorde config trigger_automatically trigger_ancient_node_automatically true
) or visit the Sculk Tomb at (0,0,0) to activate the horde. - If you wish to AutoStart the horde, check the config file to turn it on or use in-game Sculk Horde config commands. Note this feature will only work if the chunks the Tomb is in are loaded. I added a Mechanism to load the chunks the tomb is expected to be in, but this may or may not work.
- There are commands available that can be used to understand / manipulate the horde for any of your needs.
- Our mod is available on Curseforge and Modrinth for Forge only.
- The most updated version of our mod is on 1.20.1.

If you don't want to make your own modpack, and want a premade experience, check out Sculk Horde Survival
3. I want to make my own modpack. Where do I start?
If you wish to make your own, I highly recommend playing with Embeddium for performance. It is available on Curseforge and Modrinth. Highly recommend Radium Reforged, especially if you have a server. Available on Curseforge only.

Note: There are other performance mods that can be found here. Worth taking a look at.

Just ask, we value content creators and we are more than willing to help with bugs, making special tools, or anything else to help you out.
