System Performance

Benchmarking
Benchmarking is the process of measuring the performance of a system or its components using standardized tests. These tests help assess system performance aspects, including processing power, memory efficiency, and I/O capabilities. Benchmarks allow comparisons between systems or configurations, helping identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
Throughput
Throughput refers to the amount of data a system can process or transfer in a given period, typically measured in bits per second (bps) or operations per second (ops). In networking, throughput represents the data rate of successful transmissions, while in systems like databases, it measures the number of transactions or queries processed.
Latency
Latency is the delay between the initiation of an action and the system's response. Kernel Types
