Steps

• Log in as root
• Use the command nmtui
• Edit the connection
• Change IPv4 config to manual
• Then show the configuration
• When added the address in IPv4 you have to do /24 on the end
• Add the gateway and DNS server
• Add search domain tanner.local
• Make sure that there is an x on automatically connect
• You can also set the hostname
• Dhcp01-tanner
• After exiting do systemctl restart network
