A. Setting up your RFID printer

Follow these steps to setup your RFID printer. First, download Zebra Setup Utilities.

i. Install by USB

• Plug the printer in and connect the USB cable to your machine
• Open Zebra setup utilites - the printer should automatically install

ii. Setting up as a network printer

• To add the printer as a network printer, first set a static IP address using these instructions
• Next, add the printer as a network printer using these instructions

iii. Setting up a text printer

• To use a printer with RFID Asset, you need to setup a printer with the Generic Text Only drivers

B. Loading media

1. Load the roll of labels
2. Load the ribbon
3. For on-metal labels, make sure the media sensor (green light) is lined up with the liner between labels
4. Complete print auto calibration
5. Complete RFID calibration
6. Roll labels back
