FRC Team 5212, the TAMSformers, started in 2014. The team managed to win the FIRST Future Innovator's Award, and they received the trophy on Einstein field. Then there was 10 years of basically nothing at all. In 2023, the team was selected as a 1st pick in an alliance and won two elimination matches before being eliminated in their next two. In 2024, the team would be selected twice, both times as 2nd picks, and both times losing in the finals. The team qualified for the FIRST in Texas District Championship for the first time.
