The rest_in_ease utility has been developed to allow you to easily list, create, and update TADDM
resources from a command line.

The utility offers the following facilities:

• Select and identify resources based on one of more of:
  • A list of identifying attributes
  • Membership of a TADDM group
  • GUID
  • Resource type and optional identifying attributes
• Export all or a subset of attributes for a selection of resources
• List selected attributes based on a selection of resources.
• Update common attributes for a selection of resources.
• Create new resources based on a list of attributes.
• Modify - update or create - resources based on a list of attributes.

rest_in_ease is delivered as an AS-IS tool, and currently the following limitations apply:

• TADDM 7.3 XA and XD attributes are not supported
• Attributes provided by the Simple Data Model are no suported

To install rest_in_ease, download the attached rest_in_ease_1.0.2.zip archive, unpack it locally (in your $COLLATIONHOME/sdk/bin directory) and follow the instructions provided in the rest_in_ease Installation and User's Guide
