Windows Backup and Restore

Before Backup →

  • Check if everything on the Wiki was applied
  • Check tool List (SSD Fresh etc.)
  • Setup TimerTweak
  • Setup Ramdisk with folder Structure (Without Anydesk, Bluestacks etc.)
  • Setup folder structure on C:Timer/Ramdisk/, Desktop Shortcuts and :Toolz/Pixelbot, Downloads:Toolz
  • Setup Taskscheduler
  • Give all Tools admin rights
  • Uncheck Second Option from Nvme Drive in Device Manager
  • Fire up every tool one time
  • Do the Maintenance Scripts and Device Remover stuff
  • Disable Primocache
  • Disable Softperfect Ramdisk
  • Check Second Option from Nvme Drive in Device Manager
  • Backup

After Restore →

  • Download new Chipset and Adrenalin Driver
  • Boot into Safe Mode and Remove AMD Display and Chipset Driver with DDU/AMDCleanup Utility and install the new Driver
  • Enable Primocache and Softperfect
  • Install Anydesk and Bluestacks with Tweaker

AMD Driver/Nvidia Driver update procedure
Download the latest driver from the official AMD page.
Download/use DDU under Windows safe mode and then restart the PC after the cleaning is done.

Windows & Mac Stuff →

Create Bootable Windows Media on Mac OSX (Quick and Dirty) →

  • Download Windows 10 Iso
  • Plugin USB
  • Copy and paste inside Terminal
  • Diskutil list
  • Choose the correct USB Disk
  • Diskutil eraseDisk MS-DOS “WINDOWS10” MBR disk# (# Number of Drive)
  • Mount the .ISO by double-clicking on it ex.: It is probably called “CCCOMA_X64FRE_EN-US_DV9”
  • Copy and paste inside Terminal
  • cp -rpv /Volumes/CCCOMA_X64FRE_EN-US_DV9/* /Volumes/WINDOWS10/

  • Open Terminal
