Luna simplicity review

Status: complete for the final unpublished manifest and test.

Scope was limited to src/content/journeys/heaven-and-household.js and src/content/journeys/heaven-and-household.test.js. The manifest uses the existing passage resolver, checksum verifier, Journey compiler, handoff, and session compiler directly. The five focused tests cover exact source identity and excerpt bounds, both compiled movements, draft launch refusal, boundary persistence through handoff and session compilation, and checksum-drift refusal. No helper layer, model dependency, generic authoring mechanism, or shared-runtime branching was added.

The earlier Bryant comma-boundary issue is resolved. The excerpt now ends at the full sentence I hear thy cries as thou art borne away!, the end of Hector's reply; the source continues with a new narrative beat.

Review and validation evidence

  • Static review: no over-engineering or maintainability findings. Pony-tail result: Lean already. Ship. Net reduction opportunity: 0 lines.
  • Executed validation: the final focused test file passed all 5 tests after the excerpt and checksum update. The parent reports 77 passing tests in the combined focused suite. No browser, Chamber playback, or human editorial approval is claimed.
  • The Journey remains unpublished, unapproved, and absent from the catalog. Hash matching against candidate archive bytes is not certification or approval to publish.
