Find GTA V Version

• Navigate to the location of GTA5.exe
• Right click GTA5.exe
• Click "properties".
• Click "details".
• Your GTA Version is the "File version".

Up to date?

• Ensure you have no pending game updates for GTA V.

Legit or Pirate Copy

• FiveM will only work on legally obtained versions of GTA V. If you pirated your game then FiveM will not work.

Steam/CD/Social Club?

• Where did you get the game from? Where do you launch it?

Find Windows Version

• Press Windows Key + R
• Enter "winver" into the run dialog box and click "ok" or press the enter key.
• A window will popup with your Windows information.
• Included the OS and Version in your Technical Support post. (E.g. Windows 10 Version 1803)

Did you try to delete caches.xml and try again?

• Your caches.xml file can be found in your FiveM application data folder.¹

¹This folder will be where you installed FiveM or in %localappdata%
