Vescavor

Vescavors are evil, intelligent insects. They have the ability to create extremely loud and disorienting sounds that will cause confusion in the player. While affected by confusion the player's controls will not respond as expected, making the game dangerously hard to play.

As far as I can tell GnomeWorks got this monster from the tabletop roleplaying game Pathfinder.
