OPENING ANOTHER DATABASE
Click the "File" menu and select "Open Database". Then all you have to do is locate the database to be opened. Also can be found on toolbar.
PLACE LIST ON LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE
Click the "File" menu and select "Settings". Then pick left or right under "List Placement". Also can be found on toolbar.
SEARCHING FOR CODE RECORDS
Click the "Database" menu and select "Search For Record". Then choose any combination of options to narrow your search and click . Use the "Controls" menu to view or edit the record. Also can be found on toolbar. See "Bugs and Limitations" in this readme for some important information.
ADDING A NEW Code RECORD
Click the "Database" and select "Add New Record". Now just fill in the fields. The ones that are in blue are the required ones and all of the rest are optional. Can also be found on toolbar.
ADDING OR EDITING AUTHORS
Click the "Database" menu go down to "Maintenance" and select "Add/Edit Authors". Here you can add new authors with contact info, update, or delete authors. The blue fields are required. See Bugs and Limitations for some important information. Can also be found on toolbar.
ADD OR EDITING LANGUAGES
Click the "Database" menu go down to "Maintenance" and select "Add/Edit Languages". Here the controls are the same as the "Add/Edit Authors" one. You can add, update, or delete a language. Blue field is required. See Bugs and Limitations for some important information. Can also be found on toolbar.
CREATE A BACKUP OF PERSONAL DATABASE
Click the "Database" menu go down to "Maintenance" and select "Create Backup..." and just choose where you want it saved.
MAIN CONTROLS
You have a refresh button in case you want to refresh the list. There is a "View" and "Edit" button for viewing and editing records and finally a filter list box to filter out all languages, but the one you wish to view just by clicking the language you only want to see.
