StarsFinder Bot

This bot uses Luxray to soft-reset and auto-advance 3 days to find a desired species in a den.

This guide assumes you already know how the main window functions work including profiles, filters, etc.\

Step 0

Make sure ldn_mitm is installed on your console along with sys-botbase.

Step 1

Select the den and species you are resetting for in the main window.

Step 2

Assuming you already have a den ready and a target frame on it's timeline, advance through the timeline using your preferred method until you are 3 frames away. For example, to setup for the result shown below I would advance 26380 days using my preferred method of Luxray. Once complete, double check you are 3 frames away and save the game.

Step 3

Open Luxray and hover the selector over the +3 option.

Step 4

Go to Tools->Bots. Enter the IP address of the switch and the port for sys-botbase (default is 6000).

Select StarsFinder from the drop down list if it is not already selected.

Step 5

Press start on the bot! The console will now repeatedly soft-reset and advance 3 days to look for a matching species. It will stop once the species is found or once the stop button is clicked.
