At the start of the game, each player is given a random mission. The available missions are as follows:

• Capture 3 specified regions (maximum 1 per continent) and hold at least 8 additional regions
• Capture North America & Europe
• Capture North America & Africa
• Capture Europe & Africa
• Capture Asia
• Capture 18 regions and put 2 troops in each
• Capture 24 regions (no minimum troop requirements)
• Eliminate a specific fellow player. You must capture their last region. If they lose multiple regions in their final round, you must capture the majority of them in that round. If they are eliminated by another player, that player becomes your new mission target
