You don't need this plugin.

It just adds some convenience functions that are handy in really large diagrams with lots of nesting.

Reasons to avoid:

1. draw.io no longer supports plugins (without workarounds)
2. updates to draw.io may break our plugin at anytime.

Medium Term Plan

See if we can get most of the features we need into official draw.io release. Things like easier group entering and exiting. That's the big one.

Long Term Plan

At some point, we will probably fork draw.io and customize it directly for StateSmith. This will unlock a lot of cool features, but it will need a small team to help support it. I don't have time on my own.
