AHA mtg / status Wed 4/10/2019 (Jeff Setter notes)

Action items for all

  • create end-of-quarter and tapeout goals
  • list of what you are worried about most

Topics discussed

  • Functional model
    • should be able to fairly easily run CGRA to find what happens
  • Global SRAM
    • 32 banks and 8 IO channels into CGRA with constraints
    • used as a double buffer
  • Memory tiles
    • planning to have double buffer with programmable address read
  • virtual tapeout running (end of April)
    • pipecleaners should be running
    • in layout, ARM will exist, memory tiles are placed, etc
    • note: components do not need to be fully functional
    • validation flow with random test generation
  • RTL feature freeze (end of May)
    • moving foward, focus on testing
    • design should work through validation flow
    • determine date of full freeze based on observed turnaround time in physical flow
