Introduction:

I am SAI SRINIVAS ALAHARI, a quality analyst turned full-stack developer. During my work as a quality analyst for client websites at Cognizant, I was amazed by the impressive features and user interfaces of the websites. This experience fueled my interest in web development, prompting me to pursue a PG Diploma in Digital Design and Development at North Island College. As a web development student, I'm passionate about creating innovative websites, which allows me to express myself creatively on the internet. Particularly, experiencing those 'EUREKA' moments when code transforms into visually stunning results is a compulsion for me.

Educational Background:

With a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, my enthusiasm for web development drives me to pursue a PG Diploma in Digital Design and Development. This program has immersed me in a comprehensive curriculum, introducing key elements of digital design, user experience (UX), and full-stack development. I've crafted engaging front-end projects using HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript and WordPress showcasing my proficiency in building interactive user interfaces. Additionally, I've executed successful projects involving API integration and implemented MySQL databases with PHP for seamless application connectivity. These experiences collectively highlight a versatile skill set covering both front-end and back-end development.

Throughout my two years of intensive web development studies, I have acquired a diverse set of technical skills. In the realm of design, I have acquired proficiency in crafting both lo-fi and high-fi wireframes, showcasing my aptitude for translating conceptual ideas into tangible design structures. Utilizing design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, XD, Illustrator, and Figma, I have successfully brought creative concepts to fruition.

1. Top Stories Explorer: This news stories application utilizes search keywords to fetch global news using the New York Times' Restful API. Implemented with the Feathers framework in JavaScript, the project showcases my proficiency in leveraging advanced technologies for impactful solutions.

2. Saikyo Fitness Application: This fitness application utilizes PHP for backend operations, interacting with a MySQL database to store user login information and track fitness data. The frontend is developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

3. Design System: Crafted from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, my design system guarantees uniform user experiences. It offers customizable UI components, typography, and design guidelines. Despite challenges like browser compatibility, speed optimization, and accessibility issues, the demo site showcases its capabilities, providing a responsive and visually appealing solution.

Work Experience:

With a productive two-year stint at Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst in software testing, I honed skills in quality checks, overseeing QA teams, and providing detailed reports. Additionally, I played a developer role, contributing to software and systems development projects. Driven by my keen interest in web development, I actively sought opportunities within my team at Cognizant to take on development tasks. This initiative allowed me to expand my knowledge and hands-on experience in development, contributing to various projects. Embracing these challenges, I gained valuable insights into web development practices and enhanced my skill set.

In my tenure at Cognizant, I was honored with the 'Best Team Player' award, recognizing my collaborative spirit and contributions to project success. Future Goals:

I aspire to work as a full-stack developer in web development involving working on intriguing projects. I aim to contribute to innovative solutions, gaining expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies. I plan to explore advanced studies to further enhance my skills and stay at the forefront of evolving technologies in the web development domain. And also, I aim to showcase my design skills in a reputable organization, focusing on user-centric and visually appealing solutions. Additionally, I harbor ambitions of exploring diverse roles such as data analyst and business analyst, broadening my technological expertise.

Capstone Biography:

Given my aspirations to become a proficient full-stack developer, I envision my Capstone project focusing on the creation of a dynamic and feature-rich web application centered around weather-based music playlists. This project aims to showcase my expertise in both front-end and back-end development. As a full-stack developer, I plan to implement a responsive and visually appealing user interface using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring an engaging user experience.

The back-end development will involve integrating with a weather API, database management, and user authentication, demonstrating my mastery of technologies like Node.js, SQL, and PHP. To further enhance the project's interactivity and user engagement, I will utilize a music streaming service API such as Spotify or Apple Music or any other services.

The weather-based playlists application will encompass functionalities like user registration, personalized playlist recommendations, displaying weather data, and a history of played tracks. Additionally, I aim to incorporate features like user feedback within the application, fostering better-recommended playlists.

To add a layer of complexity and innovation, I plan to explore the deployment of the application on cloud platforms like AWS, gaining hands-on experience in cloud-based hosting. Throughout the development process, I will adhere to best practices, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency in the code.

This project not only combines my passion for music and technology but also allows me to explore emerging technologies, cloud deployment, and the integration of third-party APIs, showcasing a comprehensive skill set as a full-stack developer.
