AAA and QAA Rules Compliance - SquirmyWormy275/STRATHEX GitHub Wiki

Rules and officials

STRATHEX supports competition administration and mark review. It does not claim formal AAA or QAA certification. The governing rulebook and event officials remain the authority for legal outcomes.

Software safeguards

STRATHMARK calculates complete fields within legal mark limits. Championship marks are fixed at 3. STRATHEX retains competitor identities, event/wood context, uncertainty, warnings and engine evidence for review.

V2 permits explicit judge adjustments and uses a reproducible prior-only cutoff. Linux V3 requires reviewed fields, separate issue confirmation, complete outcomes and signed settlement. Its same-round evidence stays frozen.

Historical QAA scaling

The old STRATHEX QAA diameter interpolation and quality adjustment are historical. They are not the live v7 prediction method. In V2, wood quality is accepted as compatibility context but has no numerical effect.

Before running a race

Check the actual competitors, stands, marks, warnings and authorized changes. Use the V3 issued sheet when running a V3 field. Simulation assists review; it does not establish formal compliance.

The shared handicap reference explains start counts, book marks, field rebasing and officials' responsibilities.
