Q: How do I start?
A: The first quest of the quest book will cause a second island to appear. After praying at the altar there, you should see a Drifloon is trapped in the middle of the island, and you've been given a Master Ball. If the Drifloon somehow despawns or escapes, there's a 'Island Emergencies' tab of the quest book to save your bacon. After that, you forage for beginners supplies

Q: What do I do if I find a bug?
A: You can report it as an issue, and you can also use cheats to try and get around the bug so that you can continue playing. If you don't want to accidentally 'mess up' anything by always having cheats enabled, go ahead and play without cheats, but then Open to Lan and Enable Cheats if anything happens.

Q: What do I do if I can't tell if something is a bug?
A: Well, you can ask. There is a comments section on the mod page, or you can open an issue here and explain what happened.

Common Complaints

C: There's not enough iron!
A: It's tough making due without materials we normally have in abundance, isn't it? That's kinda the point of a skyblock. Work around it.

C: I can't catch Pokemon without Poke Balls!
A: Time to raise up some eggs, then. Good thing you only get a million of them.

C: These Pokemon eggs suck!
A: Welcome to working with Pokemon you normally overlook. it's a skyblock. You start low, and with very little. But hey, some of those eggs have unexpected moves, or max IVs.

C: Grinding for iron sucks!
A: Maybe you should be doing something else at this point in your adventure?

C: I didn't receive a starter!
A: I can confirm that you did not. Check the quest book.

C: Drifloon is level 2!
A: Yup. You've started off your adventure as a nobody. Like a youngster with his rattata.

C: There's no sapling!
A: Uh-huh. Check the quest book.

C: My Pokemon keep dying!
A: There is an entire section of the quest book devoted to tips and tricks you can use to win all your early battles. From Burmy and Pineco to Geodude.

C: I can't punch trees!
A: I can confirm you cannot. I suppose you'll have to find a way around that. Maybe turn some apricorns into planks, or make a tool out of bone?
